Melody Kia is an Iranian living in Los Angeles with her dog Psyche and a passion for travel, adventure, language, and good books. She is fluent in Farsi, Swedish, and English and is currently completing her doctoral degree in depth psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute and her Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at Loma Linda University. Her work is grounded in contemporary psychodynamic and Jungian principles. She is invested in exploring the intersection of psychotherapy and spirituality, viewing therapeutic practice as a journey toward spiritual growth led by introspection. She seeks a holistic understanding of each person’s unique experiences and emphasizes the value of supportive, positive relationships for emotional health in therapy. As a guide and witness, she tailors her approach to each individual’s concerns, needs, and backgrounds. Her collaborative method fosters a nurturing environment that strengthens and deepens individuals’ self-connection and interpersonal relationships.
